The Lost Century

Cortez Publisher has just released the second edition of the book "The Lost Century: Historical Roots and Public Policies for Children in Brazil", wrtitten by CIESPI´s director Irene Rizzini.

This book discusses the social significance of childhood during the passage from the monarchic period to the republic.

The Law Data Base covers the legislature for children and youth from 0 to 18 years old from 1824 to 2008. This material is available only in Portuguese.
